Apply for an alcohol beverage license

Selling alcohol in unincorporated Bryan County requires an Alcohol Beverage License under the County’s 2022 alcohol ordinance. Apply online; the advertising and investigation fees and the annual license fee are due with the application.

Cost:

$150 advertising fee and $65 investigation fee (non-refundable) plus the annual license fee: beer and/or wine $1,000; beer, wine, and distilled spirits $2,000 (consumption on premises or package); catering permit $200; special event $100; wholesale, brewer/brewpub, farm winery, and micro-distillery $3,000.

How it works

Decide whether to apply as an individual or as a legal entity registered with the Georgia Secretary of State.
Name a local registered agent in Bryan County; package distilled spirits applicants (or their agent) must have lived in the county for at least one year.
Every applicant, member, officer, and partner completes a Personal Statement of Facts.
Submit the application on the licensing portal with the fees; the annual fee is refunded only if the application is denied or withdrawn before approval.
