Look up any parcel’s zoning district on the County’s interactive planning and zoning map. Zoning decides what can be built or operated at a location, including home businesses and second homes.

How it works
- Open the map and search by address or parcel.
- Turn the zoning layer on in the legend to read the district.
- Read the rules for that district in Chapter 114 of the County ordinances (the Unified Development Ordinance).
- Ask Community Development about guest houses, second homes (allowed only on parcels over 25 acres in A-5, RR-2.5, RR-1.5, or RR-1), and home-based businesses.
