Get a 911 address for a new building
A 911 address is assigned during the building permit process — for electrical, new residential or commercial construction, and manufactured home permits — so emergency responders can find you.

How it works
- Submit the building, electrical, or manufactured home permit through Community Development; the address is assigned during that process.
- During construction, post the address on the lot at the driveway entrance where it is visible from the road.
- After construction, display it as required by County ordinance (Article IV, Section 10-74): numbers at least four inches tall, high contrast, and lit at night.
