Code Enforcement investigates complaints about building without a permit, junk vehicles, overgrown lots, farm animals in residential areas, boats and RVs in front yards, and abandoned structures in unincorporated Bryan County.

- How long it takes:
- Investigation begins within one to two business days.
How it works
- Submit the complaint through the portal with the property address and what you observed.
- Code Enforcement investigates within one to two business days and contacts you after the preliminary investigation.
- The officer discusses the violation with the owner and gives them time to correct it; a summons to Magistrate Court is issued only if they refuse.
- Richmond Hill has its own code enforcement for property inside the city.
