Report a code violation

Code Enforcement investigates complaints about building without a permit, junk vehicles, overgrown lots, farm animals in residential areas, boats and RVs in front yards, and abandoned structures in unincorporated Bryan County.

File a complaint on the code enforcement portalLeaves the county website.

How long it takes:
Investigation begins within one to two business days.

How it works

  1. Submit the complaint through the portal with the property address and what you observed.
  2. Code Enforcement investigates within one to two business days and contacts you after the preliminary investigation.
  3. The officer discusses the violation with the owner and gives them time to correct it; a summons to Magistrate Court is issued only if they refuse.
