Report a water outage or check a boil water advisory
Call Water and Sewer to report an outage or leak — 912-459-6520 during business hours, 912-675-3930 after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends. Boil water advisories are posted by the department.
How it works
- Call the service line, or the after-hours emergency line.
- During a boil water advisory, bring tap water to a rolling boil for one minute and let it cool before drinking, brushing teeth, preparing food or baby formula, making ice, or giving water to pets.
- Washing clothes and dishes can continue if done properly (see CDC guidance).
