Schedule a building inspection
Once your permit is issued, schedule and track inspections in the Evolve portal. Requests made before 4:00 p.m. are usually inspected the next business day.

- Requests before 4:00 p.m. Monday–Friday are generally inspected the next business day.
How it works
- Sign in to the permit portal and open your permit.
- Use the inspection checklist to see which inspections your permit needs and in what order.
- Request the inspection; requests after 4:00 p.m. are scheduled for the day after next.
- To cancel, contact the department before the inspector arrives.
- Post the Residential Energy Code Compliance Certificate near the electrical panel or air handler; the inspector verifies it.
