Notice to Bryan County Residents
In compliance with the Georgia Department of Revenue, the Bryan County Board of Assessors team will be taking updated photos of all residential properties to make routine updates to property records.
You may see an official county vehicle stop briefly at your home while this work is being completed. This is a standard, state-required procedure that helps ensure fair and accurate assessments for all property owners.
Assessment Notices were mailed on 06/12/26 and the last day for filing an appeal was 07/27/26.

The Appeals deadline has passed. We are no longer accepting appeals via mail or hand delivered.
To be considered timely, appeals must have been received by our office no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 27th. Appeals must be made in writing using the appropriate appeal form. Completed forms may be delivered in person or mailed to either our Pembroke or Richmond Hill office. *We will not accept any appeals sent in via e-mail or fax. *Please note that mailed appeals must be physically received by the deadline. A postmark date will not be accepted as proof of timely filing; the appeal must be received in our office by the deadline. Any appeal received after July 27th will be considered late and will not be accepted.
*It is important to note that the Assessors' Office does not set the tax rate, nor are we involved in any way with collecting taxes. The primary function of the Assessors' Office is to value property in a fair and uniform manner.*
The Tax Assessors office is currently evaluating measurements on
new construction sites with building permits.
