Board of Elections & Registration
Conducts primaries and elections as the county’s election superintendent and registers voters and handles absentee balloting as the board of registrars, under Title 21 of the Georgia code.
Third Thursday of each month, 4:00 p.m. (moved when needed, or to certify an election). Even months in Richmond Hill (Administration Building, Commissioners Conference Room); odd months in Pembroke (Commissioners Meeting Room).

Board of Tax Assessors
Determines which property in the county is taxable and sets its value, examines and corrects returns, and hears the first stage of assessment appeals. The board is independent of the Commissioners, the Tax Commissioner,…
Second Tuesday of each month, noon, alternating between Richmond Hill (Administration Building, Commissioners Meeting Room, Suite 224) and Pembroke (Assessors Office, 15 North Courthouse Street).
